He has a heavy Southern accent when he speaks in English but he cannot speak English fluently when he is nervous.

"Sr." is Spanish for "Mr."

His name is pronounced "Mar-teen", not "Mar-tunn".

BIO:

His childhood started off normal (for a rich kid) enough. He lived with his parents and big brother. When he was a toddler, he and his parents had gone to the store and were heading home, when they were involved in a car accident. His parents were dead, and he managed to survive and was fortunate enough to be rescued in time, before the car exploded. However, he got the scar as a result. His older brother, was not in the car when that occurred, since he had stayed home.

Martín was adopted by his aunt and uncle and grew up with them. His brother was not adopted, since he chose to be emancipated. Martín rarely saw his brother and longed to spend more time with him. However, when he turned 16, he no longer wanted to see or hear from his brother again.

When he was 15, he began working for his uncle, who wanted him to take over his business, since he had no sons. His cousin, Nena, wanted to take over, but her father insists on it being Martín. As he worked he gained his fortune (as well as his inheritance) and began hiring people do do things for him. He also started modeling, because he made more money that way. In fact, he does just about anything to make a quick buck, from selling hot-dogs and other snacks to unclogging the toilet.

He also made the mistake of dating Biana, but the relationship only lasted about a year. But Biana refused to admit he dumped her and was chasing after him ever since. In fact, this annoyed him to the point, he usually goes out of his way to avoid her.

Around the same time, he met Carly, and because his story is predictable, he fell in love with her and often flirted with her/made several attempts to seduce her (dressing provocatively, buying her gifts, etc). He also didn't like the fact she refused to check him out, since Carly seems emotionless. Eventually he wins her over...or so he thinks.
